About

WHERE MY LOVE FOR FLAVORS BEGAN

Growing up in Kolkata, food was a celebration in our house, a mix of tradition and a bit of curiosity for the flavors beyond. These days, I’m blending the spices of my heritage with a world of flavors I’ve picked up along the way. This culinary adventurism led me to create the viral Chaat Dip and those veggie sliders that took off. And every recipe I share here brings together my roots and everything I love about global cuisine.

From Kolkata to Jersey City

After training at NYC’s Institute of Culinary Education, winning the Top Toque award, and becoming the first Indian to place in the U.S. Junior Pastry Chef Competition, I finally made my way to Jersey City, where I now call home. Before coming to the U.S., I even ran a small bakery, Cake by Pooja, back in Kolkata—a space filled with sweets, good vibes, and a lot of happy memories.

For the Love of Food and Stories

When I’m not cooking, I’m out discovering new places and stories, gathering little tips and gems unheard of from each place to bring back and share with you. Whether you’re looking for a fresh take on vegetarian cooking or travel inspiration with a local riff, I hope you feel like this space was made just for you.
